As a primary care physician, I am here to help patients with all of the usual ills, but I LOVE that I get time with my patients to focus on lifestyle changes to get at root cause. I am happy to talk about big leaps or baby steps toward better health. I love empowering patients to take charge of their health, to make informed decisions, to get off of the medication hamster wheel, and to finally feel better. Some of it seems so simple, but can feel overwhelming to implement: Eat more plants; move your body; get enough sleep; find ways to de-stress; make social connections. Easy peasy, right? Well, that's where I help patients break down their current patterns and habits and find a different way to go forth and truly prosper. We talk about concrete steps and how to move forward, as well as how to recover when we go off course, because we all make choices that are not always 100% in alignment with our goals.
